Westward Ho! And Bideford Art Society 85th Summer Exhibition 2007

• In July 2007 I exhibited with the Bideford and Westward Ho! Art Society for the second time.

7 Hours Exhibition

• In September of 2005, I did my first exhibition with a classmate from West Buckland, Edward Crumpton. We organised the whole thing ourselves and worked very hard through the summer. So it was a tiring but invaluable experience, and was very successful in the end, having sold all sixteen of my paintings.

 

• In May 2006 I contacted Cambria Arts, an organisation in Mid-Wales, and submitted four of my paintings of Welsh scenery into their gallery in Tregaron.

Westward Ho! And Bideford Art Society 84th Summer Exhibition 2006

• I stayed in Lampeter for two months during the summer of 2006, in order to do some work on the surrounding countryside. I sent the first four paintings back home to North Devon to be used for the summer exhibition in the Burton Art gallery, Bideford. It was my first real contact with a formal art gallery, and a totally different experience from the 7Hours exhibition.

• In March 2007, I exhibited in The Student Art Society exhibition which I organised in Oriel Cambria, Tregaron.

• I had my first solo exhibition at The Rising Sun Inn, Umberleigh from the 3rd - 20th April 2007.
